Paystack and Crate

Take card, bank transfer and USSD payments, settled to your own Paystack account.

Does Crate work with Paystack?

Yes. Connecting a Paystack account to Crate lets your storefront, your chat orders and your point of sale all take card, bank transfer and USSD payments, and every one of them settles into your own Paystack account on your own settlement schedule. Crate never holds the money. A successful payment marks the order paid, moves the stock and appears in your order list without anybody re-typing anything.

What it does

Each line below is either available today or labelled planned in its own words. Nothing here is aspirational without saying so.

  • Card, bank transfer and USSD on the storefront checkout.
  • The same payment methods on a payment link sent into a chat thread.
  • Settlement straight to your own Paystack account, on your own schedule.
  • A successful payment marks the order paid and moves the stock, with no manual step.
  • Refunds issued from the Crate order, not from a second dashboard.

Setting it up

Four steps, from a phone, in about ten minutes.

  1. Create or sign in to your Paystack account.
  2. In Crate, open Settings, then Payments, then Paystack.
  3. Paste your public and secret keys and save.
  4. Send yourself a test order to confirm the flow end to end.

Your Paystack fees are set by Paystack and are charged by them. Crate does not add a percentage on top of them.

You can connect more than one, and choose which is offered.

Connect it in the first hour.

Everything on this page is set up from the dashboard, on a phone, without a developer.
